Subrata Mete's Life Achievement

Born In 1981, in  Kirnahar , WBorn In 1981,  in  Kirnahar, West Bengal, Subrata earned Master’s (MFA) and Bachelor’s (BFA) Degree in painting from  Kala-Bhavan. Visva- Bharati University, Santiniketan, in 2009 and 07 respectively;  has taken part in many important exhibition and art event s including ‘Glilmpse of Journey’, Solo Exhibition, india Habitat Centre, New  Delhi, 2018; Annual Exhibition, Rajya Charukala Parisheadm West Bengal 2017; 90th AIFACS Annual  Exhibition , New Delhi, 2017  ‘Amader Kathe ’,  Two Man show, art Gallery IIC Annexe, New Delhi, 2016; ‘’Our worlds- The Inneer & The Outer’ ,  Two Man show, Habitat Centre, New Delhi, 2016 ‘Draw Drew Drawn’  a two man drawing exhibition, organized by and held at Hoomimal Gallery, New Delhi,  New Delhi,  2015; Of Dreams and Realities’,  Two Man show held at Lalit Kala Akademi and Dhoomimal Gallery, New Delhi, 2014, 87th All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society (AIFACS) Annual Exhibition, New Delhi  2014;

"Glimpse of a Journey" is an exhumation that features artworks by Subrata Mete, whose  journey as an artist started at Kala-Bhawan, Visva- Bharati University Santiniketan, West Bengal, Where he studied art and earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in painting.
